Chile pepper is a pungent fruit that belongs to the Capsicum family. There are about 140 types of Chile peppers and most of them are grown in Mexico. Chile pepper contains capsaicin which is known to reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol, prevent strokes as well as heart attacks, fasten up body’s metabolism, treat colds as well as fevers and even prevent cancer. The Vitamin A content in Chile peppers is more than carrots. Chile peppers are known to have aphrodisiac properties
